About ACER

The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) is one of the world’s leading educational research organisations and is an independent, non-profit research organisation with a mission to improve learning.

ACER has operated in the UAE for over a decade supporting educational assessment and development in more than 500 schools across the region. ACER UAE has taken a lead role in the development and delivery of national and international assessment programs, including OECD Programme for International Student Achievement (PISA), Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), IEA Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS), UAENAP, and EMSA.
