The International Schools’ Assessment program offers tests across four learning areas, for students in Grades 3-10.
We have a comprehensive selection of sample questions available to school staff.
The ISA’s writing tasks and open-ended questions better illuminate students’ thinking processes.
Each test is marked by a highly-experienced team of subject matter experts who are trained to evaluate student responses to specific questions.
ISA test questions are culturally diverse and appropriate for students whose first language may not be English.
The ISA is designed for international schools and schools with an international focus. The tests are not specific to a single curriculum and participating schools follow a diverse range of curricula including International Baccalaureate (IB), British National, USA and more. Schools following an IB curriculum can request further information on how the ISA aligns with the IB curriculum, contact us.
The ISA is based on the OECD’s Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) frameworks, in consultation with international schools and drawing upon ACER’s extensive assessment development experience.†
† Note that the ISA is not part of PISA and is not endorsed by the OECD.
