We hear a lot about STEM education - but what do students think about studying STEM subjects?
Much is written about the importance of STEM education, the range of employment opportunities it opens up and the valuable skills it help students develop (which our newest assessment PAT Inquiry and Problem Solving in STEM Contexts will help you measure). But what do students think about STEM and the benefits of studying it?
A recent Australian government survey asked them, and the results show that many students believe STEM knowledge and skills are important in getting a good job but they lack confidence in STEM subjects. Find out more in this Teacher Magazine infographic or read the full report.
