At ACER Press, we value our authors and are committed to supporting you during the publishing process.
We recommend that you consult the guidelines on this site and regularly check in with your publisher while developing your manuscript. The guidelines discuss important things to consider when preparing your manuscript, along with permissions, marketing, manuscript submission and the production process.
As well as attending to detail within your writing, it is important that you ensure consistency in style, structure and content across your book as a whole. This has added relevance for ‘author–editors’ working on manuscripts that include chapters by contributors, as you will need to ensure consistency across individual contributions.
A manuscript that does not comply with our guidelines may be returned to you for attention. Similarly, manuscripts that are considerably over the contracted length may be returned for reduction.
Once your work is submitted, it is not possible to make major corrections other than those recommended by the copyeditor, corrections to typesetter’s errors, or essential updating.
