ACER Research Director Catherine McClellan to visit Jakarta

Jakarta, 19 September 2019 – Dr Catherine McClellan, ACER's Director of Assessment and Psychometric Research, will visit Indonesia as a keynote speaker for the 2019 International Conference on Educational Assessment and Policy, held by Indonesia's Ministry of Education and Culture on 24 September 2019. Dr McClellan will deliver a presentation titled 'Constructed Response Items: The Challenge of Assessing Process with Reliable and Valid Results'.
In addition to the conference, Dr McClellan will also hold a technical discussion with fellow psychometric association and institution members on 23 September 2019, with theme 'Constructed Response Item and Complex Performance Assessment Scoring' at the ACER Indonesia office.
Dr McClellan will also conduct a public lecture titled 'Having, Using and Integrating Technology in Teaching, Learning and Assessment', hosted by Indonesia's Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education on 25 September 2019. The session will involve more than 300 participants from higher education institutions around the Jakarta metropolitan area.
